New Product is Alive

Don’t put it in this file — this is Jetpack Social’s own core plugin file, and any edit you make here gets wiped out the next time the plugin updates (and could break the plugin entirely if you get a syntax error). Never edit plugin core files directly.

Instead, create a brand new, separate file in the mu-plugins folder. Here’s exactly how:

Steps

1. Connect via FTP/SFTP or your host’s File Manager to your WordPress site.
2. Navigate to wp-content/
3. Check if a mu-plugins folder exists. If not, create it — the exact name matters: wp-content/mu-plugins
4. Inside that folder, create a new file called jetpack-product-only-social.php
